The clique will include Angourie Rice, 21, Auli’i Cravalho, 22, Jaquel Spivey, 24, and Reneé Rapp, 22, who starred as Regina George in the iconic teen film’s Broadway adaptation.

Tina is also set to return, penning the feature film script for Paramount and serving as a producer on the highly anticipated project.

The core story of Mean Girls – both the 2004 film and the 2018 Broadway play – revolves around high school rookie Cady Heron, who moves into a new town and falls in with a popular clique of girls known as The Plastics, led by the vicious queen bee Regina George.
