Rod Stewart reveals that he struggles to be away from his eight children while touring the world and will take some of his brood with him to Australia: ‘They miss me big time’
Rod Stewart is heading to Australia for a new tour in 2023.Â
And the British crooner will bring bringing along his two youngest children, Alastair, 16, and Aidan, 11, because his misses them too much to be apart for long stretches.Â
‘It’s very difficult’ the 77-year-old told The Daily Telegraph on Saturday of spending time away from his brood.Â

‘I have eight children – the older ones are not so bad but the 11-year-old and the 16-year-old miss me big time’ he said.Â
‘But they are both coming down. Girls, get ready – the 16-year old is absolutely gorgeous.’
Rod went on to explain that his wife, Penny Lancaster, often bosses him around due to her background as a police officer.

‘She’s always catching me out on various things… “don’t park there, you’re over the red line” and this and that’ he told the publication.Â
Rod’s offspring are from romances with five different women. He has two sons with current wife Penny, 51, model Alastair, 16 and Aidan, 11.Â
Then there’s Liam, 28, and Renee, 30, who Rod shares with his ex-wife, model Rachel Hunter, 53.Â
Kimberly, 43, and Sean, 42, are from Rod’s first marriage to actress, Alana Stewart, 77, and daughter Ruby, 35, is from his relationship with model Kelly Emberg, 63.

Rod went on to explain that his wife Penny often bosses him around due to her background as a police officer
Rod’s first born child is Sarah Streeter, 59, who was raised by her adoptive parents Gerald and Evelyn Thubron.
Rod says next year’s tour in Australia will be one of his best yet.Â
‘The shows are going to be absolutely fantastic. I have more energy now than the last time I was there and you will witness this’ he told The Daily Telegraph.Â
‘People want to hear the songs they have paid the money to hear – they want to hear all the old hits and that’s what we are there for. It’s all about nostalgia and romance.’
