The 19th Annual Desert Smash event partnered with the nonprofit organization called, Playing For Change, which was launched back in 2007.
According to the event’s official website, the nonprofit helps operate, ’17 music programs across 13 countries,’ and is also, ‘A global nonprofit offering creative opportunities for marginalized youth.’
‘Helping communities around the world to rise up through their own culture. We all speak Music. Music is the key. Styles: Local Leadership, Social Empowerment, Transparency.’
Along with celebrities, professional tennis players were also seen participating on the court, such as Victoria Azarenka, Marta Kostyuk, Casper Ruud, and also Frances Tiafoe.
