Kristina Wagner is paying tribute to her late son Harrison in a heartbreaking Instagram post on what would have been his 28th birthday.

‘Sometimes I feel like a pinned butterfly. There’s no second chance. There’s no see-him-again. There’s no nothing. He’s not coming back. It’s final. But life goes on,’ the longtime General Hospital star, 60, began in a lengthy caption, alongside a video of her beloved son dancing and goofing around at a shopping center.

The youngest of her two adult children with ex-husband Jack Wagner was found dead in a parking lot in Los Angeles on June 6, after a lengthy battle with substance abuse.

Heartbreaking tribute: Kristina Wagner, 60, paid tribute to her late son, Harrison, on what would have been his 28 birthday on Thursday, December 1

In the tribute video, Harrison stood in the middle on the street that appeared to be a shopping area like 3rd Street Promenade in Downtown Santa Monica, California.

After a brief hesitation, dressed in a gray shirt, brown Khaki-like pants and black sneakers, the handsome young man threw his light jacket to the side and proceeded to break out some fierce dance moves.

Going side-to-side and forward and backwards, Harrison showed off some real dance skills.

‘How do I spend the rest of my own without Harrison in it? What does it mean to be “all right” after the death of your child, your blood? The pain will never go away,’ the actress continued on in her tribute her son.

Kristina went on to share how she had ‘the privilege to know him for 27 incredible years’, describing him as ‘larger than life’ and ‘full of commanding presence, vulnerability and compassion under the surface.’

‘He understood his own defects and worked hard to turn them around, to strengthen his positive attributes. He was a good listener and stood up for others when they couldn’t speak for themselves. He is missed,’ the Indiana native, who’s best known for playing Felicia Jones Scorpio on General Hospital beginning in 1984, said of Harrison.

Kristina, who just celebrated her milestone 60th birthday on October 30, ended the tribute by wishing her son a ‘happy birthday’, along with a message to other parents grieving the loss of a children: ‘May you find peace. Let’s stick around and see what’s in store for our extraordinary lives.’

Jack and Kristina Wagner, who met while starring together on General Hospital, were previously married from 1993 to 2006, and are also the proud parents of another son Peter, 31.

Jack, who played Frisco Jones on General Hospital for many years and also starred on Melrose Place, 63, also has a daughter Kerry, 34, from a previous relationship.

The former couple were very open and honest over the years when it came to Harrison’s addiction issues, which resulted in some scary situations, including when he went missing for five days after relapsing in 2016.

Ultimately, he was found and Harrison tried to work through his issues and turn his life around.

‘Life is a roller coaster. It is all transformation and how we grow as humans to have the power and willingness to make a change,’ he wrote in September 2021, adding, ‘It is NEVER TO LATE TO MAKE A CHANGE IN ONES LIFE Let alone, if u are struggling believe me… I’ve been there. But we come out on the other seeing the world through a different Lens.’

Sadly, Harrison would pass away just nine months after sharing those words of wisdom.

His family went public and said Harrison ‘ultimately lost his battle with addiction’ when they unveiled The Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund, established in his honor through the New Life House Recovery Community. It’s a network of sober living facilities for men in the Los Angeles area.

‘We hope that Harrison’s memory will live on through this scholarship and will help other young men get help for their addiction that would not otherwise be able to afford it,’ the dedication read, in part, during the unveiling.
