Kristen Doute confirms she is dating podcast co-host Luke Broderick… after split from Alex Menache

Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute confirmed she is dating Luke Broderick on Wednesday’s episode of their Sex, Love, and What Else Matters podcast.

Six months after ending her nearly two-year relationship with Alex Menache, the 39-year-old reality star gushed that she is no longer single. 

‘Luke and I are f**king dating, you guys,’ she said on their podcast. ‘And all of my friends who have listened to our podcast were like, ‘Yeah, it sounds really obvious.’

Despite finding love, she admitted that she initially ‘battled’ the idea of entering a new relationship so quickly after her last and being his ‘person.’ 

‘I love you so much, but just the thought of being someone’s girlfriend again just kind of threw me through a loop because I want to be a wife and I want to be a mother,’ she explained. 

Doute continued: ‘I was so tired of being a girlfriend for a couple of years and then having s**t fall apart, to be honest.’

Broderick, 31, recalled that his now-girlfriend ‘tried really hard not to fall in love’ with him, who she describes as her opposite. 

‘Luke loves to hunt and fish… I am an animal advocate,’ she marveled. ‘I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 11 years old, and that truly was the one thing that was a little difficult for me in the beginning.’ 

Additionally, they have an eight-year age gap and live in separate states, her in California and him in Colorado.

When they first began dating, she encourage him to make a separate Instagram for his hunting pictures to avoid ‘scrutiny’ that she faced as someone who ‘chose’ to be on reality television. 

Regardless of their differences, Doute praised herself ‘clawing’ her way out of her last relationship and finding him. 

In 2020, she was fired from Vanderpump Rules, after eight years, after their former cast member Faith Stowers recalled a racist incident, in which she and Stassi Schroeder falsely accused her of stealing and called the cops on her.
