Johnny Depp partied backstage with supermodel ex-girlfriend Kate Moss following his cameo performance with Jeff Beck at the Royal Albert Hall tonight – days after she testified for the movie star in court.
The British supermodel, 48, last week gave evidence in Depp’s defamation trial against another of his exes, Amber Heard, rejecting claims she had ever been assaulted by the Pirates of the Caribbean actor during their high-profile four-year relationship in the 1990s.
And Ms Moss this evening again publicly showed her support for her former flame – with whom she remains on good terms – by heading to London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall Venue to watch him perform covers of John Lennon, Marvin Gaye and Jimi Hendrix alongside Beck, 77.
The fashion icon was joined inside by former TV personality Sharon Osborne, 69, who arrived for an after-party following the end of the concert.
Ms Moss – who last week gave evidence to the US court via video link – arrived at the venue early at around 8pm, 90 minutes before Depp was due onstage, clambering out of a blue Mercedes and being escorted by security into the stage door entrance.
After Beck’s set began at 8.40pm, Depp headed onstage at 9.23pm to perform several songs with a British music legend considered among the greatest guitar players in history.

Introducing the 58-year-old – who he told the 5,000-strong crowd had ‘been through some s**t – he said: ‘I met this bloke in Japan. He knocked on the door and we burst out laughing straight away. You may recognise him. He’s been through some s**t.’
To calls from fans of ‘Johnny’ and ‘We love you Johnny’, Depp took to the stage wearing a waistcoat, white and red checked short-sleeve shirt, patterned cravat, and Peaky Blinders style cap, and immediately grabbed the mic.
Johnny Depp seemed to injure his finger as a guitar was taken away from him. He could be seen moving his hand up and down. However, this did not stop him coming back onto stage and carrying on the show
The actor and Beck played seven songs including Jimi Hendrix’s Little Wing, John Lennon’s Isolation, and Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On before departing the stage at 9.50pm, blowing kisses to the audience.
Fans of Deep speculated on Twitter about why Moss had gone to see her ex perform.
One, Karen Hancock, said: ‘Could this be why he came to London? The best thing she ever done was to mention Kate Moss in the trial, it brought her back into his life.’
After the show a 100-strong crowd gathered outside a back entrance hoping to catch a glimpse of Depp.
Discussing the gig, Nadia Tiholova, 45, from Romford, who came just to see her acting hero, said: ‘I think he was outstanding. I have seen all his movies but I never expected him to be such a good musician. And thanks to him I discovered Jeff Beck!’
Neil Clarke from Romford paid his money to see Beck perform and was disappointed at Depp’s appearance.
He said: ‘I wouldn’t have minded if he did a song or two but it felt a bit like it turned into the Johnny Depp show.
‘The Marvin Gaye song is a masterpiece by a man with an incredible voice and he butchered it!
‘It’s a beautiful song about American Black civil rights movement and it seemed a bit odd to have a Hollywood millionaire singing it.’
This was Depp’s third show in a row alongside Beck, and second consecutive night at the Royal Albert Hall, amid his ongoing legal battle.
He had earlier performed with with Beck at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor is suing his former partner over a 2018 article she wrote in the Washington Post, which was titled: ‘I spoke up against sexual violence – and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change.’
Last Wednesday Ms Moss testified by video for just three minutes in the US-based Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial.
She refuted a rumour Depp had pushed her down a flight of steps when the pair were a famous ‘it’ couple during the 1990s.

The 48-year-old, speaking on a video link from her English home in Gloucestershire, told the Virginia court that she and Depp had been in a romantic relationship for four years between 1994 and 1998.
When Depp’s attorney Benjamin Chew asked Moss if anything had happened while they were on holiday at the GoldenEye resort in Jamaica, she said: ‘We were leaving the room, and Johnny left the room before I did, and there had been a rainstorm. As I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back.
‘I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.’
Moss – who was called by Depp’s legal team – rejected claims Depp had ever attacked her.
‘He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs, no,’ Moss told the court.
Heard’s attorneys declined to cross-examine Moss, and she was told she was free to go.

In response Ms Heard, 36, returned to the stand the following day where she was questioned by Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez, who asked during cross-examination: ‘You didn’t expect Ms Moss to testify that that never happened, did you? ‘
‘Incorrect,’ she responded. ‘I know how many people will come out of the woodwork to be in support of Johnny. It is clear by this courtroom how many people will do that.’

His appearance comes as the jurors deliberating the duelling defamation claims from Depp and Heard are set to resume their deliberations today after failing to reach a resolution in the widely watched six-week trial on Friday.
The seven-person jury deliberated for about two hours Friday before adjourning for the U.S. Memorial Day holiday weekend. Â
