Daggy dad alert! David Warner and his daughters wear matching Crocs as they arrive home with his wife Candice from India after cricketer is ruled out of second Test with a concussion and elbow fracture

David Warner‘s family trip to India ended in disappointment after he was ruled out of the second Test with concussion and fractured elbow on Saturday.

But the batsman, 36, looked anything but downcast as he arrived back home in Australia with his wife Candice, 37, and their daughters Ivy, seven, Indi, five, and Isla, two, on Thursday.

The famous family were in good spirits as they strolled through Sydney Airport, with Ironwoman Candice doing the heavy lifting for her injured husband by pushing their suitcases oh a trolley.

Dressed for comfort following the long-haul flight, David sported a par of grey shorts and a white T-shirt that exposed his arm bandage.

He completed his look with a brown baseball cap and a pair of Crocs.

Candice looked casual in a grey T-shirt, jeans and a pair of trendy sunglasses.

The couple’s three daughters each wore vibrant outfits and different coloured Crocs to match their dad.

Candice and the girls jetted to India last week to support David at the Indian Premier League.

However, it was decided the left-hander would fly back to Sydney on Wednesday and miss Australia’s final two Tests against India after suffering a concussion and a hairline fracture in his arm.

‘David Warner has a small and undisplaced hairline fracture in his arm,’ cricket reporter Andrew Wu tweeted on Saturday afternoon.

‘It gives you an idea of the guts he showed to bat on yesterday. He’s as tough as they come.’

The veteran opener was said to be dizzy and failed a fitness test ahead of day two.
