Corrie’s Charlie De Melo shows off his new look as he shaves off his beard after his character Imran was killed off
Coronation Street fans were left heartbroken on Wednesday evening when Imran Habeeb met his untimely end following a shock car crash.
And now actor Charlie De Melo has well and truly said goodbye to the role after five years as he took to Twitter to show off his brand new look.
Charlie, 32, shocked fans as he uploaded a snap to his Instagram to reveal his newly shaven face.

In the beaming snap Charlie looks younger than ever with a freshly shaven face the complete opposite of his nonsense solicitor Imran on the soap.
The actor help up and old old script for the camera that contained a scene between his character and Sally Metcalf (Sally Dynevor).
He captioned the snap: ‘Feeling chatty will delete later’.

The star also shared a glimpse of his leaving party now his character’s death has been aired months after filming took place.
Sharing an image posted by co-star Millie Gibson, who plays Kelly Neelan, the actor embraced his former on-screen wife Georgia.
In a smart ice blue suit and red tie he cuddled up to the former Casualty actress who looked gorgeous in a black polka-dot dress.
Kelly captioned the shot: ‘My pair of superstars’.

As well as sharing more shots from the party the actor revealed his leaving gifts as he said goodbye to the role after five years.
Sharing a snap of co-star Millie’s present the star proudly showed off a silver necklace as well as framed pictures.
Millie, who originally shared the image, wrote: ‘Now the news is out about out beloved Imran …I couldn’t of asked for a better person so shatre so many datys and storylines with, from me to you @charliedemelo ‘Oh Kelly… so much love’.
While an emotional Charlie added: ‘The best gift ever, pic from our last scene together’.

Viewers were on the edge of their seats on Wednesday as the paramedics lifted his on screen wife Toyah (Georgia Taylor) into the ambulance following the crash while his character collapsed and died from a heart attack on the famous cobbles.
In March The Sun reported that Charlie had ‘loved his time on the soap’ but he believes that now ‘the time is right to try new things.’
A source said he will ‘cherish’ the time he has spent on the cobbles but he is ‘hugely talented and very ambitious and wants to see what else is out there.’

The shocking week of episodes moved back and forth in time as the custody battle for Alfie intensified between Imran and Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).
With emotions boiling over the stakes were at their highest as Abi, Kevin, Imran and Toyah went head to head.
And as questions start to be asked about how the crash happened it’s been reported Abi and Kevin will find themselves under suspicion from the police.
Sally previously discussed her character’s tragic storyline and suggested Abi wants to look after her baby without Imran.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: ‘I think in an ideal world, she’d love that. She’d love it to just be her and Alfie. They could start afresh.’
‘She could prove to herself that she can be a good mum and provide a loving, safe environment – and right a lot of wrongs through doing that’.
