Trump: I need more lawyers than Al Capone and trust Putin over intelligence ‘lowlifes’

Donald Trump suggested that he trusts Russian President Vladimir Putin more than U.S. intelligence officials as he complained he needs more lawyers than infamous gangster boss Al Capone.

The day after Trump got back on the campaign trail, he and wife Melania were seen at a party at Mar-a-Lago where some of his supporters were captured dancing and twerking to rapper Cardi B‘s song Up in a video posted by a Twitter account called PatriotTakes.

The former president was also pictured on the golf course Sunday donning a white polo with ’47’ embroidered in blue on his sleeve – signifying he plans to be both the 45 and 47 president of the United States.

Trump often makes appearances at events held at his Mar-a-Lago club, most times to the adoration of attendees.

While it appears Trump is trying out more retail politics in his third bid for the White House, he is still spending his days at social events and golfing at his club in Palm Beach, Florida after taking up permanent residence at his Mar-a-Lago home in 2020.

The day after Trump was seen golfing and partying in Florida, he took to Truth Social to slam federal law enforcement arms.

‘Because of the Weaponization, Targeting, and Unprecedented Harassment, I believe that I have more lawyers working for me on this Corrupt Law Enforcement induced Bull…. than any human being in the history of our Country, including even the late great gangster, Alphonse Capone!’ Trump wrote in a post to his Truth Social.

‘This is all being done for POLITICAL REASONS in that I am leading everybody, Republicans & Democrats, by big numbers in the Polls. The Disinformation Specialists are at it again, full time. The Fake News is their TOOL!’

Trump is vying with his 2024 White House bid to be the second president ever to win two non-consecutive terms. The only other being Grover Cleveland who was the first Democrat elected after the Civil War in 1885 and served as both the 22nd and 24th president. Benjamin Harrison served for four years in between Cleveland’s two four-year terms.

Following his announcement on November 15 for a third bid for president, Trump waited two-and-a-half months to hit the campaign trail.

His first two-events spanned two states on Saturday with a stop in New Hampshire to speak to the first primary election state’s Republican Party during their annual meeting. He then flew down to Columbia, South Carolina for remarks at the state’s capital for a few hundred invited supporters.

Following his remarks in Columbia, Trump stopped at an old-school ice cream parlor and burger shop called Zesto where he ordered a chocolate dipped ice cream cone.

The events and fanfare Saturday show Trump is trying out retail politics this time around as he spoke to much smaller crowds than usual at his famous mega-rallies and mingles with supporters around the community.

But the day after these events, Trump was seen golfing and then attending a party at Mar-a-Lago with former first lady Melania.

It is not clear if the former first couple were at the party at the time women were seen twerking at the front of the room to Cardi B.

A separate video, however, shows that the two were swaying from side-to-side and mouthing the words when the Village People hit YMCA played.

While Mar-a-Lago is where Trump spends most of his days, the complex was raided by the FBI in August to apprehend materials he took from the White House – at least 200 recovered documents had classified markings.

This has led to increased scrutiny of the intelligence community and law enforcement arms of the federal government.

Trump said in a Monday Truth post that U.S. intelligence officials like James Comey and Andrew McCabe are ‘lowlifes’ and said their actions have led him to trust even the likes of Putin over them.

‘Remember in Helsinki when a 3rd rate reporter asked me, essentially, who I trusted more, President Putin of Russia, or our ‘Intelligence’ lowlifes,’ Trump posted.

‘My instinct at the time was that we had really bad people in the form of James Comey, McCabe (whose wife was being helped out by Crooked Hillary while Crooked was under investigation!), Brennan, Peter Strzok (whose wife is at the SEC) & his lover, Lisa Page. Now add McGonigal & other slime to the list.’

‘Who would you choose, Putin or these Misfits?’ he questioned.
