Three women including a grandmother are found stabbed to death at New York City home: Cops hunt for ‘family member’ who fled at 5am

A mom, her daughter and disabled step-daughter were found fatally stabbed in the neck in a New York City home early on Friday morning as police search for a suspect, who is the relative of one of the women.

Police are searching for a relative of in connection with the deaths, who apparently fled the home at 5am, according to a senior official.

They said the killings appear to be domestic, but there is no known history of domestic violence at the address. Police confirmed it was not a murder-suicide.

The women, who were aged 26, 47, and 68, were discovered in the Queens home by a home health aide and another relative, the New York Post reported. 

The youngest victim, who is bedridden and disabled, had recently moved into the home from Jamaica a few months ago.

The women, who were aged 26, 46, and 57, were discovered in the Queens home by a home health aide

New York City Mayor Eric Adams arrived at the scene on Friday afternoon and said ‘our hearts go out to the families.’ 

‘I’m still in disbelief. I’m in complete shock,’ said the eldest victim’s niece. ‘I’m devastated, it’s a lot. We been here since after 9 am. We’re just trying to support each other.’

The gruesome discovery was made in the Brookeville section of the borough, close to Long Island. 

The trio were found around 9:30 am, and one of the victims was bedridden.

An NYPD spokesperson did not have any further details when contacted by DailyMail.com.
