Alex’s frock featured long sleeves, a deep v-neckline and hugged her figure.

She showed off her trim pins in the outfit and added height to her frame wearing simple black heels.

Alex added to her glamorous look wearing her long, dark locks out and over her shoulders.

Her makeup was complete with matte foundation, layers of bronzer and a nude lip.

Before taking to the stage, she shared an Instagram video with fans of herself getting dolled up and ready for the evening.

Alex looked chic in a bright green sweater and was getting her hair curled.

‘Nearly showtime,’ her post was captioned.

The annual telethon will see three hours of jam-packed programming, with celebrities and civilians alike coming together to raise money for a worthy cause.

The Children In Need fundraising appeal first began in 1980 and over 40 years later, the campaign is still going strong in a bid to help disadvantaged children and young people around the UK.
