Sunrise star Natalie Barr reveals her DIY trick for last minute ‘tailoring’ on the fashionable outfits she wears live on the Seven breakfast show
Sunrise host Natalie Barr has revealed how she’s often forced to pin her blazers at the back before appearing on the show.Â
The star, 54, took to Instagram on Friday to share the behind-the-scenes tidbit from her ultra-glamorous role on the show.Â
Nat showed herself first in a ‘fitted’ pale blue pantsuit as she stood next to a Christmas tree.Â

But as she turned around she showed it was actually pinned at the back to give it the allusion of being tailored.Â
Nat saw the funny side of the DIY tailoring, writing: ‘Keeping it together before holidays,’ while adding a laughing emoji.Â
A number of Nat’s diehard fans told her to watch out from the dressmaker pins, incase one accidentally pierces her. Â
As Nat turned around she showed her blazer was actually pinned at the back to give it the allusion of being tailored. A microphone cord was also seen in the clip
‘Gorgeous be careful with those pins though!’ one fan wrote. Another added: ‘you won’t slouch with those pins!!’Â
Yet another wrote: ‘Keeping it real!!’Â
It comes just weeks after Nat admitted she would be open to plastic surgery, saying she would ‘never say never’ to a nip and tuck.Â
‘I think never say never. I haven’t had anything yet. I’ve been a bit scared, to be honest. But as I get older, I’m open to ideas,’ she told The Daily Telegraph. Â

While the 54-year-old said she has always ‘been a bit scared’ of going under the knife, she would ‘never say never’ when it comes to having a bit of nip and tuckÂ
In 2020, the television presenter revealed she wasn’t a fan of cosmetic injections, though she didn’t have qualms with people who were.
‘I am not one of those people who panics about looks,’ she told Stellar magazine. ‘I keep reasonably fit, I haven’t had Botox – though no judgement if you do’. Â
At the time, she said the secret to her youthful looks was a well-rounded approach to health and fitness, a keen interest in natural skincare and plenty of sleep.
The newsreader also regularly used a green algae face mask by Australasian skincare brand Dermaviduals to keep Father Time at bay.Â
In 2021, she shared images of herself in a salon chair undergoing IPL, proving she was still partial to some cosmetic treatments. She also likes green algae face masksÂ
