CORE, which stands for Community Organized Relief Effort, was launched by the 61-year-old Mystic River star in 2010 and aims to ‘bring immediate aid and recovery to underserved communities across the globe.’
For the star-studded soiree, Penn rocked a dark blue suit with a silky black tie.

Penn founded CORE along with Lee in the aftermath of the earthquake that rocked Haiti back in 2010.
This year, the organization focused on providing relief in Ukraine following the Russian invasion of the Eastern European country.
According to the organization’s website, it provided cash assistance, refugee shelters, hygiene kits and much more to those suffering in Ukraine.
