Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean gets a hamburger tattoo in Sydney as the band wraps up their Australian tour

Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean got two new tattoos during his visit to Sydney.

The boyband is touring Australia and New Zealand for their DNA World Tour, and AJ decided to commemorate the long-awaited trip by getting inked at Thanks Tattoo in Darlinghurst.

One of the designs was a cheeseburger and the other was a walking middle finger.

The 45-year-old donned a torn green T-shirt for his visit to the tattoo parlour, then posted the results on Instagram on Tuesday.

AJ and his fellow bandmates have been doing a lot of sightseeing while Down Under for their recent tour dates.

On Sunday, Nick Carter was seen front and centre on a yacht cruise with the other Backstreet Boys in Sydney Harbour.

He went shirtless in a pair of patterned blue swimming trunks.

Nick, 43, who also showed off his tattoos on the yacht, was seen smoking a cigarette as he took in the scenic views.

He and his bandmates, including Brian Littrell, 48, and Kevin Richardson, 51, were treated to champagne on board before heading into the water for a swim.

The sighting came after Nick’s mother Jane Carter shared shocking photos of the room where her younger son Aaron died on November 5, at age 34.

She expressed her view that people ‘harassing’ the former child star on social media could have done him harm.

The Backstreet Boys have since wrapped up their Aussie tour and are now in New Zealand.
