‘My husband is not a jealous man,’ the Frida actress informed the entertainment outlet.
The talented beauty recalled that, at first, she would call her husband while on the production and had told him, ‘Oh my God, I feel so bad,’ because I had this predisposition about how the guys, the strippers, were going to be.’
However, she added that her castmates were, ‘lovely. They’re such great guys. And [my husband] goes, ‘Oh God, you’re becoming best friends with the strippers, aren’t you?’ And I said, ‘Yes!’
Hayek explained that the French businessman had visited the set on a few separate occasions. ‘There was especially one [co-star] who would come and ask him advice for business,’ she mused.
‘He spoke French and he knew everything about François. He says, ‘I’m a big fan.’ He reacted more to François than to me!’ the mother of one humorously added.
Due to the great rapport she and her castmates had, Salma ended up inviting them to her house ‘by the end of the movie.’
‘They were all hanging out with me,’ she stated, adding that her husband of 13-years also enjoyed the company. ‘Then François was saying, ‘You’re right, they’re adorable, they’re lovely.’

Grand premiere: Magic Mike’s Last Dance, which is the third and final installment in the franchise, premieres on Friday February 14 for Valentine’s Day weekend
During a recent cover story for Glamour Magazine published earlier this month, Salma opened up about her marriage to Francois, and revealed the big day wasn’t exactly planned.
The two lovebirds tied the knot in a low-key civil ceremony on February 14, 2009 with only family in attendance, before rolling out the lavish celebrations two-months later for an A-list wedding bash.
But speaking on the initial day, the beauty told Glamour: ‘I didn’t even know I was getting married that day. It was like an intervention. I don’t think I ever told this story.
‘No, they just took me to the court. My parents, my brother, they were all ganging up on me. I had a phobia of the marriage thing. The reason it was a courthouse wedding was because they dragged me there. I was nervous.
She concluded: ‘And then after, there was a lunch at his parents’ house. My mother-in-law, who’s the most tasteful person when it comes to entertaining, had already been doing the lunch. I had no choice.’
In April that year, the couple welcomed pals such as Stella McCartney, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz to a weekend celebration in Venice.
Salma and Francois initially became engaged in 2007, and welcomed their daughter, Valentina, that same year, before getting married two years later. Upon tying the knot, the actress became stepmother to the businessman’s three other children from previous relationships.
