Oh no! Robbie Williams has revealed that popstar Kylie Minogue was his ultimate ‘crush’ but that he ‘messed up’ any chance of a romance between them
Speaking on Scott Mills’s Radio 2 show My Life Thru A Lens, Scott asked him: ‘You and Kylie? What was going on there?’
He replied: ‘Not as much as I wanted to be unfortunately.
‘I messed that up by being 13 whenever I was around her. It was like the girl from the year above me. ‘I don’t know how to speak to you!’
‘But she’s my crush, my crush of all crushes.’

Kylie and Robbie teamed up to duet on her 2000 hit single Kids, and the Take That star even admitted he had a crush on her at the time but crushed any hopes of a romance by poking fun at her when she stripped off for the video.
It comes after earlier this year Robbie admitted that he found dating in his 20s ‘disappointing’, as he tried to navigate finding love with his celebrity status.
When asked about his love life during an interview with French magazine Paris Match, he said: ‘Yes, well, we are repeatedly told that we must be in a monogamous relationship and that love will heal us and fill in the gaps.
Honest: Speaking on Scott Mills’s Radio 2 show My Life Thru A Lens, Scott asked him: ‘You and Kylie? What was going on there?’ He replied: ‘Not as much as I wanted to be unfortunately’
‘And that’s what I thought celebrity would do for me. Except that, in both cases, the reality was disappointing. I’m not saying that these women were disappointing, but… the relationships you had at 20 are not public, mine are forever.’
The singer had many high-profile romances over the years, dating Melanie C, Geri Horner, Ayda Field, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Appleton.
The singer was also asked about the rumours that he had dated Kylie and Nicole Kidman in his youth, to which he jokingly referenced Bill Clinton’s untruthful denial of ‘sexual relations’ with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
He replied: ‘As Bill Clinton would say, I never had any relationship with any of these women.’
Scared: He continued: ‘I messed that up by being 13 whenever I was around her. It was like the girl from the year above me. ‘I don’t know how to speak to you!’
The former X Factor judge also worked together on the song, Somethin’ Stupid, with Nicole back in 2001.
He sung the Australian star’s praises in 2018, calling her ‘lovely’ and ‘incredibly gifted’ while speaking to the Herald Sun.
The Rock DJ hitmaker said: ‘We worked together, we sang together; to get somebody of Nicole’s stature to sing with me was the biggest coup of the century.
‘She’s a lovely person, incredibly gifted and talented and I am glad that moment happened.’

In 2014, the Big Little Lies producer spoke about her collaboration with Robbie when appearing on The Graham Norton Show.
‘He just asked me to do it and I was in between movies and I was like, “Okay I’ll give it a go,”‘ Nicole said.
‘I had just done Moulin Rouge! I was so shy. And I had to the harmonies which was really hard for me. But he was really nice. and I went it and did it in an hour,’ she added.
