A 30-year-old woman is fighting for her life after falling out of a car driving down a major Australian freeway.
The woman was in the front passenger seat of a Honda sedan travelling 100km/h on the Princess Freeway in Littler River, Victoria on Sunday.
Police were told the woman ‘came out’ of the high speed car and fell onto the road at about 11:30am.

The woman was airlifted to hospital and was placed in an induced coma after suffering severe head injuries. The incident caused major delays on the Princess Freeway brining traffic to a stand-still (pictured)
The woman was airlifted more than 50km to The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne with life-threatening injures after suffering severe head injuries from the fall.
Doctors placed the woman in an induced coma where she remains in a critical condition.
The 28-year-old driver stopped at the scene and spoke with police however, the exact circumstances of the accident have yet to be determined.
