Andy Cohen has revealed that he has ‘a few’ embryos left that he is willing to pass down to his children when they want to start families of their own.

The Watch What Happens Live host, 54, opened up about his remaining embryos while chatting about his children — three-year-old Ben and five-week-old Lucy — on Monday’s episode of Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live.

‘I have a few. I can’t remember. I think I have three left?’ he said. ‘You know what I’m thinking? This is crazy, but if either of them cannot have kids, maybe in 20 years they’ll defrost their sibling and raise them. Is that a weird thought?’

Embryos are frozen and stored in liquid nitrogen at 320 degrees Fahrenheit during a process that is called cryopreservation.

Dr. Barry Behr, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford University Medical Center, told Live Science that embryos can remain frozen ‘indefinitely.’

The longest an embryo has been frozen before a successful transfer is 27 years, meaning the Bravo star could pass on his embryos to his kids if he wanted to.

Cohen welcomed his son, Ben, in February 2019, followed by his daughter, Lucy, three years later in April 2022.

He noted on the show that his children are ‘biological siblings,’ but he did not use the same surrogate for the births.

Cohen also touched upon how Ben is adjusting to his younger sibling, saying he ‘loves her but is trying to kill her’ because he’s jealous of all the attention she’s getting.

‘The crazy thing is, by design, I am spending so much time with him,’ he explained. ‘Because, by the way, she doesn’t know what’s happening. I sit with her for a few hours a day and I’m like, “Just smell me. Hear my voice. This is me. I’m your dad.”

‘But [with Ben], I’m really in there with him, and I don’t know if it’s really registering how much time I’m spending with him.’

Cohen surprised fans when he announced Lucy’s arrival on Instagram on April 29, sharing a photo of himself cuddling his baby girl in the hospital.

‘HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!’ he wrote. ‘Her big brother can’t wait to meet her!

‘Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen,’ he added. ‘I’m so happy.’

A few days later, he posted an adorable picture of his son sweetly kissing his baby sister on the forehead with the caption: ‘When Ben met Lucy.’

When he appeared on her podcast, Heather Dubrow’s World, she explained that ‘everyone wants to know’ if she donated her eggs to him.

‘I’m going to let you dispel the rumors, ready?’ she asked.

‘No, you did not, but it’s very funny because as we said before, that would really be an HR issue,’ Cohen responded, adding that she would have been ‘a good candidate otherwise.’
