Pete Doherty is worlds away from his rock heyday as he wraps up in a fur-trim coat and hat and he takes his dog for a walk in Copenhagen’s Christiania

He has undergone a wholesome transformation in recent years after making a name for himself as a hell-raising rocker in his Babyshambles heyday.

And Pete Doherty once again showed off his new look on social media on Tuesday, as he wrapped up to take his husky Zeus for a walk in Copenhagen.

The Libertines star, 43, shared a picture posing under the Freetown Christiania sign, which is widely-known for its open cannabis trade in the area.

Despite disbanding in 2004, The Libertines reunited in 2020 for a series of shows, and are currently touring Europe in a series of special shows.

Their fourth studio album is currently in the works, although it is unknown when fans can expect to hear the new music.

It comes as Pete recently revealed that BBC bosses once offered him a ‘starring’ role in EastEnders.

He said that the offer came after late actress June Brown – who ran a detox charity – attempted to help him kick his ‘£200 a day’ heroin addiction.

Speaking to The Mirror he said: ‘There are a few things that have fallen through over the years that I was a bit disappointed about – opportunities that came up that I didn’t take.’

He added: ‘I was going to get a part in EastEnders at one point. It was around this time that the Libertines re-formed too.’
