Paris Hilton shocks fans by announcing arrival of newborn via surrogate

Paris Hilton shocked fans Tuesday when she revealed that she secretly welcomed a child with her husband Carter Reum via surrogate.

The socialite, 41, made the announcement via Instagram, which included a photo of the new mom clutching onto her infant’s hand.

‘You are already loved beyond words,’ wrote Hilton, who used a blue heart emoji to seemingly suggest they’re parents to a boy.

She did not reveal details about the birth.

Though this is Hilton’s first child, Reum already shares a daughter with his ex Laura Bellizzi.

Just one month ago, the Simple Life star shared that she and her husband had started an IVF journey during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

She told PEOPLE that they had ‘all of the eggs stocked and ready.’

The pair wed in November 2021.
