The top of Cate’s dress was made from a gorgeous satin material and featured a draped top with shoulder pads and a fishtail skirt.

She accessorised with a pair of diamond drop earrings and large matching ring. 

The blonde beauty wore her locks up in a chic chignon and her glowing visage was accentuated by a very simple makeup palette. 

Cate is up for her coveted third gong, landing the Best Actress nomination for her lead role in the psychological drama Tár.

She is a well decorated actress, having already won two Oscars from seven previous nominations.

In Borderlands, Blanchett stars as Lilith, an infamous outlaw who leads a team on an intergalactic mission to find her missing daughter.

Curtis plays Dr. Patricia Tannis, a scientist grappling with her own sanity.

Directed and co-written by Eli Roth, the science fiction action comedy film is based on the video game of the same name.
