Streaming giant Stan has announced a powerful new documentary that sets out to expose the sinister world of human trafficking.
Revealed: Trafficked, from award-winning filmmaker Sascha Ettinger-Epstein, follows an international trail as it pursues a story of vulnerable women coerced into the sex industry.
Presented by Nick McKenzie and South Korean journalist Jiyoon Kim from Investigative Agency Newstapa, the gritty and raw investigation premieres on March 12, only on Stan.
Drawing on a 60 Minutes report McKenzie first presented last October, viewers will hear a harrowing story, including first-hand eyewitness testimony from one young survivor.

McKenzie and Jiyoon Kim follow the human trafficking trail from Melbourne to Queensland to South Korea and London, unveiling the cracks in Australia’s efforts to police the action of conspirators along the way.
‘Australians will not only see inside a world of organised crime and sex trafficking,’ McKenzie said, ‘but inside an exhaustive investigative journalism project that ultimately exposed government failures that should concern us all.’
Created in collaboration with 60 Minutes, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, Revealed: Trafficked exposes an under-reported crime.
The film is the latest in a Stan Original Documentary series.
