The chaotic brawl broke out in Skylight Peckham, southeast London, leaving one man, 31, with a head injury after being struck with a bottle and another, 30, with a leg injury caused by broken glass.

Both their injuries were found to be non life-threatening. 

Footage of the rooftop fight – which spilled all over the restaurant – was shared on TikTok by user @nebbesboo and later posted on Twitter

Police arrived in the early hours of Sunday February 5 to the brawl, breaking up the crowds of terrified customers who were trying to get out of the way as the fight ensued.

No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing, the Met Police said.

 Meanwhile, terrified customers swerved away from the fight while the camera followed the savage assault, with screams and the shattering of glass heard in the background. 

One of the men involved picked up a plant pot and hurled it at another man’s head as he tried to get away. 

The video ends abruptly without any sign of the fight coming to an end. 

Twitter users expressed outrage at the incident, with one writing: ‘This is so ugly.’

Meanwhile, another person commented: ‘Bunch of uncivilised fools.’ 

Speaking to MailOnline, the director of Skylight Bars, Scott McVittie, said: ‘The incident occurred during a private event and the police were called immediately. 

‘The safety of our customers and staff is our paramount concern and we strongly condemn the appalling behaviour of a few violent individuals.’

The Met Police said in a statement: ‘At 03:18hrs on Sunday, 5 February police were called to reports of a large fight inside a licensed premises in Peckham Hill Street, SE15.

‘A 31-year-old man had been struck with a bottle and had a head injury. A 30-year-old man had a leg injury caused by broken glass.

‘Both men were assessed at hospital and their injuries were found to be neither life threatening nor life changing.

‘The crowd dispersed after the arrival of police. There were no arrests but an investigation is ongoing.’
