Mike and Zara Tindall can’t contain their smiles as they pose arm-in-arm at Cheltenham Festival

They’ve been putting on loved-up displays all week – and today was no different, with Mike and Zara Tindall affectionately posing arm-in-arm at the final day of the Cheltenham Festival.

Princess Anne‘s daughter, 41, and her rugby ace husband, 44, were all smiles as they stopped for photographs upon their arrival at the historic racing event.

The couple looked typically stylish with mother-of-three Zara opting for a longline coat from Laura Green which she paired with a vibrant pink hat from Juliette Botterill.

She completed her simple yet elegant look with a pair of black boots from Stuart Weitzman and a dazzling set of earrings from Laurence Coste.

Her husband – who couldn’t resist joining some racegoers in a selfie – looked equally sophisticated in a check suit.

The couple were joined at the event by Princess Anne, who braved the mud in her suede boots for the outing.

The down-to-earth Princess Royal appeared delighted to be attending the event alongside her daughter and son-in-law.

And she proved her hardy nature by trudging through the muddy grass at the race course this afternoon.

Zara and Mike have had a busy few days at the festival as they enjoyed the St Patrick’s Day themed occasion yesterday and Ladies’ Day on Wednesday.

The couple, who share a passion for horse racing, are often full of affection for one another, although they were somewhat more restrained today than they have been at racing events in the last few months.

They left royal fans in hysterics in January during their appearance at the Magic Millions Festival on the Gold Coast in Australia as they larked about with friends while posing for photos, poking out their tongues and kissing, while pulling silly faces.

The Cheltenham Festival, which dates back to the early 19th century, has unveiled a new ‘inclusive’ dress code this year, which organisers hope will make spectators feel ‘confident and at-ease’ for their visit.

But despite dresses, heels and hats no longer being mandatory, glamourous guests have still opted to pull out all the fashion stops for the annual event.

This year’s official dress code for the festival, posted on the event’s website, outlines exactly what racegoers should consider when choosing an outfit.

It reads: ‘For some, wearing a nice sweatshirt, pair of jeans and clean trainers is what makes them feel confident and at-ease.

‘For others, they might prefer to turn heads with a sharp suit or glamorous dress and high heels, particularly for one of our big race meetings.

‘But whatever your tastes, the most important thing when choosing your outfit is, of course, comfort and confidence.

‘So wear what feels right for you and will keep you feeling your best from start to finish, whatever the weather,’ concluded the statement.
