Megyn Kelly slams Harry and Meghan’s new 0M Netflix documentary as ‘insufferable’

Megyn Kelly has branded the new Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary ‘insufferable’ and speculated if the prince needs a qualified psychotherapist instead of a ‘whiny, woke annoying wife.’

Kelly was none-too-impressed by the Sussex’s much-discussed Netflix debut, which most have reviewed as an out-of-touch whine-fest that continued to propagate the tired narrative about the difficult time Harry and Meghan had performing royal duties.

The SiriusXM on host on Monday called the docuseries, which began on Thursday, ‘three hours I’ll never get back.’ And that was the nicest thing the former Fox News host had to say.

Kelly said the documentary was largely ‘uninspiring’ and ultimately an ‘interminable waste of time.’

Harry and Meghan largely spent the first several episodes of their show complaining, which is not a new act for the Duke and Duchess

‘Believe it or not this couple is still complaining,’ Kelly said.

‘From the Montecito mansion, with two beautiful, perfectly healthy children, a little chicken coop and flower garden out back, matching Ugg’s for Meghan and her toddler, all royal titles still in tact complete with matching stationary, and nearly 200 million dollars in the bank thanks to their insatiable desire to ‘finally tell their story.

‘Like to Oprah. And on Spotify. And to NY Magazine. And in a memoir. And … well you get the point,’ said Kelly in jest.

Kelly, during a 20-minute review of the show, zeroed in on what she identified as the amount of ’emotional baggage Harry’s still carrying.’

‘It’s big!’ she exclaimed.

‘Good gracious is this man insecure…he clearly hasn’t worked out the trauma of his mother’s premature death,’ she continued. ‘Time and time again I said to myself, this guy needed therapy!’

‘A real psychotherapist. That’s what he needed. Not a whiny, woke annoying wife,’ Kelly declared.

Kelly additionally took aim at what she perceived to be Meghan’s claim that she does not have a father – or perhaps wishes not to have one.

‘She doesn’t have a dad? What a farce. She does have a dad. He raised her and loved her and paid for her college and never asked for any of this attention,’ she said.

‘He screwed up in dealing with the paparazzi – staging photos of himself getting ready for her wedding reportedly in exchange for money. Not good but was it really unforgivable?

‘One mistake after a lifetime of loving and supporting her? You know who doesn’t have a dad? Me, and millions of others out there who would kill to have just one more Christmas with them,’ Kelly continued, further prodding the ways in which Harry and Meghan’s ongoing sob stories arguably do not read quite as well as the couple may hope.

Other voices – a chorus even – agree with Kelly’s dissection of the documentary, including Rebecca English, who wrote, in agreement with Kelly, that the Duke and Duchess overstepped their play for sympathy in ways that stretched the truth past its breaking point.

The second part of the documentary, which English predicts will cover ‘the couple’s wedding, their subsequent falling out with William and Kate and acrimonious departure from the Royal Family,’ will be released on Thursday.

The first three hours of the show documented Harry and Meghan making their grand exit from the royal family, their engagement, and the negative media attention that the couple garnered from the start.

Harry defended his choice to marry American actress Markle as he took thinly veiled swiped at his father and brother.

‘I think for so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mould as opposed to somebody who you perhaps are destined to be with. The difference between making decisions with your head, or your heart. And my mum certainly made most of her decisions – if not all of them – from her heart. And I am my mother’s son,’ he said.

In a clip that has gone viral, Markle described being stunned that she was going to be expected to bow to her new boyfriend’s grandmother – the Queen of England.

Markle said she thought Harry was ‘joking’ when he told her she would have to curtesy upon meeting her Majesty. She compared her first meal at Windsor to a ‘Medieval Times, Dinner and Tournament.’

She called the experience a ‘shock to the system.’
