Married At First Sight’s Davina Rankin shares update on her explant breast surgery

Davina Manuel (née Rankin) has shared the results of her explant surgery after having her breast implants removed. 

Posting to Instagram, the former Married At First Sight star, 30, shared a post to Instagram on Tuesday, proudly flaunting her new chest. 

‘Seven months post #explant and this is what the itty bitties are looking like (cannot believe I had DDs hanging off my chest at one point like how did they even fit?)’ she began her long caption.

‘I’ve had lots of women reach out to me telling me they have booked in for consults to get theirs removed after many years of pain, discomfort and health issues. Which makes me so happy. YES GIRLS!’ she continued. 

‘It makes me so happy that women are putting their health before their looks. It makes me SO HAPPY that we are changing the narrative and making it beautiful to be yourself. I would have been terrified to have my implants removed 10 years ago.’

Davina then listed off some of the negative thoughts she had about her bust, including, ‘What if I’m not desirable?’ and ‘My boobs give me confidence, there’s no way I could be flat chested’.

‘Funny thing is, I hated myself with or without boobs. I just had this idea in my head that having ‘breasts’ was the ONLY thing I had going for me, I was always searching for perfection, therefore the thought of loosing them would have been terrifying to younger me’ she admitted. 

‘I hate that I thought so little of myself. I hope my daughter never feels like that & knows she’s beautiful with or without big ol’titties! 

‘I hope YOU know that you are beautiful just the way you are’ she concluded.
