Made in Chelsea‘s Maeva D’Ascanio revealed she has ‘found the perfect dress’ as she tried on a number of wedding gowns ahead of her big day on Wednesday.

The reality star, 30, looked simply stunning as she shared a video montage to Instagram of herself in the bridal store ahead of tying the knot with fiance James Taylor this Christmas.

She wowed in a figure hugging backless silk gown in one clip as she showcased different styles of dresses.

In another, Maeva looked nothing short of sensational in a princess-style dress which cascaded behind her as she looked in the mirror in the shop.

The beauty made sure she found the ‘perfect dress’ by also opted to try a high necked lace gown which boasted a daring thigh high split.

She penned: ‘Bride to be ❤️ @psbridalstyling , @morgan_davies_bridal @thefallbride for helping me to find my perfect dress’.

Maeva and James have been together for three years and welcomed a baby boy named Beau Christian Taylor last year.

The couple got engaged last April while visiting the Trevi Fountain in Rome and are looking forward to a festive wedding.

Previously Maeva told Johnny Seifert on the Secure The Insecure podcast: ‘The plans are for a Christmas wedding but that’s it for now. It’s going be here in England. We’re just waiting to actually start the process of organising the wedding.

‘Right now we’re trying to be focused on the baby. Otherwise, it’s too much to think about.’

James and Maeva sparked wedding rivalry with fellow show stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo ahead of both couple’s upcoming nuptials.

Jamie and Sophie announced in December that they too are soon set to say ‘I do’ as they are planning their big day abroad.

And James has jokingly claimed his and Maeva’s wedding is going to be in a ‘different league’ from Jamie and Sophie’s, with Maeva insisting: ‘A race horse doesn’t compete with a pony.’

When asked if the guest list would have many of the same names as Jamie and Sophie’s, James added: ‘There will be similar guests, but there’s no competition, right?

‘When you’re in a different league, there’s a different competition. I’m saying it’s Premier League stuff. We’re at the top race.’

Maeva chimed in: ‘A race horse doesn’t compete with a pony.’

James laughed: ‘I think we like we like to throw a bit of shade here and there. Honestly, we’re really happy for them. We’re not close enough to be in competition.

‘We’re happy for them, but we’re happier for us. So we will enjoy our day and our winter wedding.’
