Love Island’s Faye Winter takes a cryptic swipe at ex boyfriend Teddy Soares as she takes a break from Instagram after confirming split
It’s only been 36 hours since she confirmed her split from Teddy Soares, but it seems like Faye Winter is already drawing up the battlegrounds.
The Love Island star, 27, took to Instagram, to post a photo of her beloved golden retriever, Bonnie, telling fans she would be taking a break from the social media platform.
Sharing the cute picture to her stories, Faye thanked her followers for their support – then seemingly took a dig at her ex, stating Bonnie was the only dog that she needed.
The blonde bombshell penned: ‘Sorry if I’m quiet over the next few days, thank you all so much for the support but I really don’t need to use this situation for engagement and likes.
‘I will only be posting my scheduled work.

‘The only dog I ever need.’
The shock move comes after the reality star confirmed she had ended her one and a half year relationship with Teddy.
Faye and Teddy, who appeared on ITV2’s Love Island, were fan favourites and despite a testing time in Casa Amor, came third in the reality show.Â
She wrote on Wednesday: ‘I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.Â
‘Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us. I’m forever grateful.’
The pair had been unusually quiet on each other’s social posts, before reports surfaced that the couple were ‘in crisis talks’ regarding their relationship.
Earlier this week, Teddy broke his silence about the split, saying he has ‘nothing but respect’ for the former estate agent.
He said: ‘Everything you have been reading in the press is false. I have had nothing but love and respect for Faye since we first met.’

A source told The Sun of their split: ‘Faye is devastated they haven’t been able to work things out.

‘She’s known deep down it was over for a while, but wasn’t ready to let go.
‘Faye’s keeping her focus on their dog Bonnie and making sure she keeps busy with work.’
