Kanye West enjoyed an ice cream in Calabasas, seemingly brushing off his recent Twitter ban over anti-Semitic comments and the ongoing controversy of his White Lives Matter t-shirts.

The rapper, 45, stopped by the shop in Calabasas on Friday before heading to his warehouse.

West, who was seen eating a vanilla cone, dressed down from his usual outlandish ensembles and sported a white long sleeve top with a graphic print for his outing.

West wore his shirt tucked into a pair of black Levi jeans, and he covered his head with a black baseball cap.

He has lately been a fan of rain boots and continued to don a quirky pair of the Balenciaga x Crocs footwear.

West has been embroiled in a lot of controversary recently, since debut his White Lives Matter shirts at Paris Fashion Week to getting banned from Instagram and Twitter for anti-Semitic remarks.

At Paris Fashion Week, models in the rapper’s show wore clothing with the message written across it. Among those who modeled West’s new design in Paris was Bob Marley’s granddaughter, Selah Marley. Selah is the daughter of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley.

The move is another way that West has been distancing himself from the mainstream of black politics.

The slogan worn on West and Candace Owens’ shirts has previously been used by the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacist organizations as an attack against the Black Lives Matter movement and Black people more broadly.

West also recently sat down for the interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson after he returned from Paris Fashion Week to discuss the shirts, which was widely condemned by fans and fashion industry luminaries and led Adidas to put its relationship with him ‘under review.’

He told Carlson the shirt came from his ‘energy’ and his ‘connection with God.’

‘I do certain things from a feeling, I just channel the energy. It feels right, hits using a gut instinct, connection with God and just brilliance.’

He also said he thought the idea of him ‘wearing the shirt was funny’ and his father – who he claimed is a former Black Panther – thought so too.

‘I said: “Dad, why do you think it’s funny?” and he said: “It’s just a black man stating the obvious,”‘ he told Carlson.

‘That was my favorite response, because I kept thinking: People are looking for an explanation. And people say as an artist you have don’t have to an explanation, but as a leader you do.’

He also said the controversy is that white people ‘have stripped us of our identity and labeled us as a color have told us what it means to be black.’

‘The answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is because they do. It’s the obvious thing.’

Many have called the fashion designer out for the slogan, including model Gigi Hadid, who branded him a ‘bully.’

The supermodel, 27, recently commented that Ye was ‘a bully’ after he lashed out at Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson when she called his White Lives Matter merchandise presented during Paris Fashion Week ‘violent’ and ‘dangerous.’

He also spoke with Fox News' Tucker Carlson recently about the shirts and said he does 'certain things from a feeling, I just channel the energy. It feels right, hits using a gut instinct, connection with God and just brilliance'

He later lashed out at her, calling her a ‘Karen.’  He wrote: ‘YOU WERE BORN WITH A SILVER SPOON IN YOUR MOUTH YOURE A ZOMBIE.’

West roasted Karefa-Johnson after she branded the the ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirts ‘dangerous’ and ‘violent.’

He later walk back on his criticism, insisting he had no issue with Vogue’s contributing fashion editor.

His spokesman Jason Lee quit in protest at the provocative show, writing on Instagram that West was ‘gaslighting black people and empowering white supremacy.’

Since West has been airing his dirty laundry on Twitter and riling up a storm at Paris Fashion Week, Adidas has announced it would review its business relationship with the rapper after he spoke out against the brand.

Khloe Kardashian – sister to his ex-wife – have pleaded with West in a now-deleted post to stop airing the family business online.

Days later, he would go into another tailspin, calling out Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg for restricting his Instagram account for insinuating that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was controlled by Jewish people.

In the text exchange, Combs tries to get West to stop sporting the shirts.

‘I’m trying to talk to you as a black man. And I’m talking to you because this is hurting our people. Stop.’

West replies: ‘Anything you text I will post.’ The rapper and fashion mogul kept his word, posting the entire exchange to his 18million followers.

The series of texts ends with West accusing Combs of being controlled by Jewish people – an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.

‘This ain’t a game. Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me,’ West wrote his friend.

He reportedly captioned the post of the text exchange ‘Jesus is Jew.’ The American Jewish Committee has since condemned West, saying his post was ‘dangerous.’

After the posts were removed by Meta, which owns Instagram, West called out Zuckerberg’s company on Twitter for restricting his account.

The rapper reportedly told Combs that 'Jewish people told you to call me' and that they were not going to 'threaten or influence me.' West also said the rapper was 'breaking my heart' and that 'no one gets in between me and my money'

He posted the tweet alongside a photo of the pair performing karaoke at an unknown time.

It is unclear what exact rule West broke, but he has been using the platform with growing frequency to bash numerous people, including his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

He would later take his remarks to Twitter, where he would also be banned.

West has reportedly not heard from Kim and they barely avoided an awkward encounter when they arrived separately at their oldest daughter North’s basketball game last week.

North, nine, arrived at the game with a teammate, rather than coming with either of her parents, TMZ reported on Friday. However, she was seen heading into the building just behind her father.

West made a separate entrance, but Kim arrived with her other children: Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three.

Sources told the publication that West apparently ducked out of the game before it was over, and the four kids then went home with their mother.

TMZ reports that Kim ‘isn’t answering Kanye’s calls’ after he ignited controversy across the world over his shirts, which he wore at the game.

The publication claims Kim hasn’t spoken ‘directly’ to West in weeks and is focusing on their four young children, but in the past the star and her family were on hand to help the rapper until his mental health improved.

Sources close to West say they ‘wish Kim was still in the picture to step in’ and are concerned West could lose a ‘lot of money’ during this turbulent period in his life.

TMZ said that Kim did not speak to or look at her ex, and had her car moved in the parking lot to avoid contact with him.

Kim has reportedly paid for increased security at her children’s private school after West named the establishment on social media.

A source said that officials at the school do not believe West is a threat but are concerned that someone could see his messages and show up on campus.

Their divorce was filed last year in February 2021, and the performer stated that currently, the TV personality, ‘basically 80 percent of the time, raise[s] those children.’

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for West and Kardashian for comment.
