Josie Gibson vows to stay single until her son Reggie, four, turns 15 as she gushes over motherhood

Josie Gibson has revealed that she plans to stay single until son Reggie, four, is well into his teens, admitting she has no room for a man in her life. 

The This Morning host, 37, gushed about life as a single parent and insisted love was the last thing on her mind in 2023.  

Josie, who split from her son’s father shortly after his birth, told The Sun: ‘I think when Reg is about 15 and he’s off living his life, maybe then [I’ll start dating].

She went on to say the youngster still sleeps in bed with her and he wouldn’t be happy for any change to the arrangement. 

She revealed that even if she were looking for love, there wouldn’t be enough hours in the day as she juggles her busy career with motherhood.

‘This might sound really weird, but I love Reg so much, nothing else comes close to it,’ she explained.

Mummy: Josie, who split from her son’s father shortly after his birth, said: ‘I think when Reg is about 15 and he’s off living his life, maybe then [I’ll start dating].

‘I know it’s a different sort of love, but I’m just so into him and he’s at such a sweet age, I want to be with him all the time I can.’

She said that a boyfriend at this point in her life would be ‘encroaching’ on her cherished time with her son.   

Despite her vow to stay single, Josie was left lost for words while chatting with a hunky yoga instructor via video link during Friday’s This Morning.

The presenter got hot and flustered as she fawned over Finlay Wilson, who went shirtless to exhibit his muscular physique for the outdoor tutorial in the Scottish Highlands.

She asked the fitness pro: ‘How did you get into yoga? I can understand why you’re so popular.’

After he responded, the former Big Brother star continued: ‘And so yoga has helped you get that ripped, has it? Or are you… cos… you’re… really lovely. 

Bursting into laughter, her co-star Andi Peters chimed in: ‘You can’t even speak!’ 

Ignoring her advances, Finlay replied: ‘What I have to remind people is I do this every single day, I teach classes every single day.’

Josie showed off her slimmed-down frame in a red knitted dress as she stepped in for Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, who are enjoying a Christmas break.

The gorgeous festive number accentuated her curves and showed off her weight loss, after she dropped from a size 18 to 14 earlier this year.

Josie complemented the look with thigh-high leather boots and statement hoop earrings.

The presenter also added a crescent moon necklace to her Christmassy outfit. She wore her blonde tresses straight and opted for a full face of make-up.
