JoJo Siwa seemingly accused her ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus of trying to profit off her fame during their relationship, following the end of their short-lived romance.

When asked by her mom, Jessalynn, why she was upset, the superstar, who found fame as a child on Lifetime’s Dance Moms, gave an emotional answer while clearly still reeling from her recent heartbreak.

‘Because I got used, for views and for clout!’ she answered while pacing back and forth. ‘I got tricked into being told I was in love and I got f**king played.’

No so amicable? JoJo Siwa seemingly shaded her ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus, just days after confirming the end of their short-lived romance

The jab appeared to be a clear swipe at Cyrus, who is a social media influencer with more than 8.4 million TikTok followers.

Footage of the dancer going off about feeling taken advantage of was uploaded to her mother’s Instagram Story on Monday.

Before dating Siwa three months ago, her content typically received just over a million views per video, whereas cameos from her famous girlfriend caused views to spike between 3.3 to 14.7 million.

Over the weekend, Cyrus, 22, confirmed their breakup in a video that featured a clip of Siwa presenting her with a ‘sorry for breaking up with you present.’

When one fan asked for an explanation regarding the breakup, Cyrus explained that she and Siwa decided to just be friends and focus on themselves.

‘We decided that we are better off as friends! We are both so young and still just trying to figure our stuff out,’ the content creator wrote.

Siwa and Cyrus originally sparked romance rumors back in August in a TikTok, which showed them lip synching to an old voiceover of KUWTK star Kourtney Kardashian and her baby daddy Scott Disick.

They went social media official in September when a clip showed them making out at a Chuck E. Cheese.

The pair talked a bit about their relationship in October in a vlog. Cyrus said, ‘We’re girlfriends now. I’m so happy you said yes. I knew you weren’t gonna say no, I was just nervous.’

‘I’d be insane if I said no, you’re the best girlfriend in the world,’ Siwa replied.

‘But like, I don’t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it or queer because I think the keyword is cool,’ Siwa told People in January 2021.

Last year during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, she admitted that it felt ‘wild’ to be considered a gay icon among some of her ‘favorite people’ and stars, like Lady Gaga and Freddie Mercury.

‘I am so happy with the outcome of me coming out. The world has taken it so positively,’ she gushed.
