Is Tina Arena is secretly engaged? Swedish singer Mattias Lindblom ‘proposes to Aussie songstress’

Tina Arena is reportedly engaged to her partner Mattias Lindblom after more than a year of dating.

The 55-year-old singer has been ‘quietly dating’ the Swedish singer and producer since August last year, according to Woman’s Day.

The publication claims Tina was recently seen wearing a diamond ring on her finger while running errands around her home in Melbourne.

Meanwhile, Mattias, 51, was spotted arriving at the singer’s home with flowers and was seen chatting to her parents.

Mattias is believed to be living with Tina in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

A source told the magazine that Mattias is said to have got down on one knee weeks ago.

Despite making a brief appearance on Tina’s episode of This Is Your Life earlier this month, the pair decided to keep news of their engagement a secret as Mattias didn’t want to ‘take away from her moment’.

‘This relationship looks and feels different from the ones before,’ the insider said. 

‘It’s been really easy, right from the beginning.’

The Young Talent Time star was in a tumultuous marriage to her former manager Ralph Carr from 1995 to 1999.

She has previously said her marriage to Ryan ‘was disgraceful.’

Speaking to News Corp in 2013, she said: ”[My family] had their reservations about the wedding.

‘And they were right. Going through those experiences are what make or break a human.’

Following their divorce, the singer had been in a longtime relationship with French-born Vincent Mancini since the year 2000.

In 2005, she gave birth to their son Gabriel.

It is unclear when Tina split with Vincent, but in 2021, she told Daily Mail Australia that their relationship was ‘no-one’s business’ after speculation the couple had ended their relationship.

‘I am an extremely private person. My private life is my private life,’ she said. 

Following their divorce, the singer had been in a longtime relationship with French-born Vincent Mancini since the year 2000. In 2005, she gave birth to their son Gabriel
