Hollyoaks SPOILER: Tony’s paranoia is heightened by a dark new mystery when the pub is vandalised

Tony Hutchinson’s paranoia will reach new heights on Hollyoaks next week when The Dog is broken into by a mysterious vandal.

In upcoming scenes, Tony fears for his wife Diane’s safety when she prepares to travel to a women’s conference, after she was left fighting for her life following a hostage siege with incel Eric Foster.

As the week begins, Diane (Alex Fletcher) tries to reassure Tony he has nothing to worry about as she prepares to attend the Women’s conference.

But his concern is only heightened as Beau delivers the alarming news that their car has been broken into, with the strange circumstances leaving them wondering whether it is just mindless criminals or something more sinister…

Later, Tony (Nick Pickard) goes into panic mode wheoDD:n he can’t find Diane in the flat before Jack sees she is at the conference with Maxine.

That night CCTV footage shows a hooded intruder inside The Dog moving furniture and vandalising the pub, and the next morning Beau wakes up and discovers the damage. 

The crime leaves Tony more paranoid than ever, despite Diane returning from the conference safe and sound.

Later, Beau (Jon-Paul Bell) discovers something in the CCTV footage which he hides from the family and detective Zoe. 

Beginning to fear the worst and feeling unsafe in her own home, Diane along with the children goes to stay at Scott’s for the night, leaving Tony and his son to protect the pub.

That night Beau discovers a hooded figure in The Dog once again… and is stunned when he discovers their identity.

The family’s woes are heightened further when they gather to learn Eric’s sentencing for his crimes.

When Tony receives an unexpected call from Eric asking him to go and visit him in prison, a concerned Diane thinks it’s time her husband seeks professional help from the trauma left behind from his brother.

Elsewhere this week, the news that Sharon has been offered a permanent role at Dee Valley hospital soon comes to a halt as Sally announces the surprise and shocking news that the McQueen house has been sold.

Mercedes is quick to come with an illegal plan to save their home – but will it go pear-shaped? 

And wedding planning is well underway for James and Ste, and the lawyer decides he doesn’t want to wait another minute and tells Ste he wants to bring the wedding forward. 

A loved-up Ste agrees and points out how scaling back on the big day will help with gathering the money needed to pay for Juliet’s private healthcare. 

That night James receives a tempting proposition from Eric who offers the lawyer any amount of money in return for his freedom… could Eric escape sooner than his loved ones think?

Hollyoaks airs Mondays to Fridays at 6:30pm on Channel 4, and first look episodes at 7pm on E4.
