The man accused of brutally bashing a high-profile ex-bikie in a Bunnings carpark was himself the victim of a brazen crime three years ago.

Nomads bikie boss turned influencer Moudi Tajjour was allegedly set upon by four men in the carpark of a Gold Coast store on Saturday.

As Tajjour took to social media on Monday night to backtrack on revenge threats over the bashing, Organised Crime Gangs Group detectives arrested and charged one of his alleged attackers.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal Harley Cranston, 31, from the Logan suburb of Park Ridge will spend Christmas behind bars following his arrest on Monday.

He was charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm in company and one count of possession of a dangerous drug.

Cranston didn’t appear or apply for bail when his case was briefly mentioned in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Harley Cranston was hit in the leg by a rival bikie outside a bust shopping centre in 2019. Almost four years on, he’s behind bars over an alleged attack of former bikie Moudi Tajjour

He will remain behind bars until his case returns to court in mid-January.

Cranston recently shared footage on social media of a Mongols bikie in full regalia sitting a motorcycle being filmed doing a burnout in full regalia played to Soldier Kid’s Thug Paradise 2.

It’s not the first time Cranston has been caught up in bikie gang violence.

In February 2019, the then-Bandidos bikie was shot in the leg by rival bikies in broad daylight outside a Logan shopping centre south of Brisbane.

CCTV showed Cranston meeting several Rebels at a restaurant at Hyperdome Shopping Centre in Loganholme before abruptly leaving.

He’s seen sprinting through the shopping centre with a number of rival bikies in pursuit.

Moments later he is captured talking to someone inside a silver 4WD when he is shot.

An injured and bloodied Cranston flees the scene and is again seen running through the shopping centre.

Cranston didn’t get medical attention until two days later and never made a formal complaint to police.

Rebels Logan chapter sergeant-at-arms Lucas James Pain was later sentenced to 13 years behind bars. Another bikie was acquitted.

Investigations into Saturday’s alleged bashing of Tajjour continue as police renewed an appeal for anyone with information or has footage of the incident is urged to contact police.

The savage attack was filmed in two clips that quickly went viral.

In one video, Tajjour’s alleged attackers can be heard crying out ‘f*** off, you f***ing dog’ and he can be heard groaning as the punches and kicks land.

One of his alleged assailants screams in Tajjour’s face: ‘Where’s your podcast now, dog?’

Another man warns the gang to keep away from the row of motorbikes where the attack is taking place saying: ‘Watch the bikes boys, watch the bikes’.

Tajjour, who spent four years behind bars for the manslaughter of Robin Nassour in 2006, initially vowed to come out of retirement over the humiliating incident and lead a revenge attack.

He has since backtracked on that threat

‘I’ve actually calmed down and the anger is gone and I’m thinking properly and wanna be clear so no-one tries to use me as a way to get their revenge and tries to make it look like it’s me,’ he said in a TikTik video.

‘Make this clear… I have not returned to the bikies [it was] an angry moment and I spoke out [of] emotion. So please know I ain’t back in any crew.

‘I want to make it clear to the gangs that are at war with them, don’t bother trying to make moves on them and make out it’s me.’
