Halle Berry marked her daughter Nahla’s 15th birthday by sharing rare snaps of the teen to her Instagram account on Thursday.
The 56-year-old actress shared a pair of photos that showed firstborn relaxing in various locations, and she also included a shot of herself enjoying her daughter’s company.
The Oscar-winning actress – who recently attended the Academy Awards ceremony – also penned a short message in her post’s caption to express her feelings about her child’s special day.
Berry began by describing Nahla as ‘one of the greatest gifts the universe has given me.’
The X-Men franchise star went on to express that her daughter has served as a positive influence in her life.

Berry shares Nahla with her former partner, Gabriel Aubry, whom she began dating in 2005.
The former couple welcomed their daughter into their lives in 2008, although they separated two years later.
The actress went on to begin a relationship with Olivier Martinez, and they tied the knot in 2013.
The pair brought a son named Maceo-Robert, aged nine, into their lives that same year, although they eventually split up in 2015.
Berry spoke about co-parenting during an interview with Women’s Health, where she expressed that she occasionally found it difficult to co-parent with the fathers of her children.
She stated: ‘I have two different daddies, and I see [my kids] half the time. That’s a lot to manage. So, I have to go sometimes to talk to people to help me figure out, “How do I make the best decisions for my children?”‘

The actress remarked: ‘I feel guilty a lot. You think, God, I should have done better.’
Berry concluded by stating that she had taken on self-care routines in an effort to become a better parent.
‘I’m reminded that we always have to take care of ourselves first, because I can’t be a good mother for my children if I’m not fundamentally happy and feeling good about myself,’ she said.
