Emmerdale SPOILER: Moira is left heartbroken as Kyle is taken away

Heartbreaking: Emotions will run high on Wednesday’s episode of Emmerdale as the Dingles say goodbye to Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn)

In last night’s episode, Moira was devastated to learn that Kyle was going to be taken to an authority children’s home.

She was left wondering if her marriage to Cain (Jeff Hordley) could survive this when, from prison, he made it clear he blamed her for this turn of events.

In tonight’s episode Moira was shocked to see Cain, fresh out of prison.

Kyle is only 11 years old, with his birth serving as a big moment in the soap back in 2011.

His mother Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) gave birth to him in Emmerdale Cemetary and, thinking he was stillborn, left him in a telephone box wrapped in blankets.

The baby was thankfully found and brought to hospital where Eric and Val Pollard named him Kyle.

Viewers have seen Kyle struggling to cope with the guilt of accidentally killing Al after the businessman’s heated argument with Kyle’s dad Cain.

Cain took the fall for his son and was thrown in prison with only a small group of people knowing the truth.

On Christmas Day, Cain’s brother Caleb visited him in prison – but their reunion didn’t go down to well.

Caleb was shocked to hear their mother Faith had only died recently, after being told she died thirty years ago.

As anger boiled up between the two siblings, Cain needed to do everything he could to protect Kyle’s secret.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and on ITVX.
