Elsa Pataky reveals the surprising way she chooses new film projects – after husband Chris Hemsworth announced that he’s taking ‘time off’ acting
She’s a doting mum of three, an actress and a proud owner of nine horses.
And now Chris Hemsworth‘s wife Elsa Pataky has revealed that she weighs up which films to take on depending on how long she will be out of the saddle.
Pataky, 46, who is a Magic Millions global ambassador for showjumping shares her passion for the sport in the December Issue of Vogue Australia.

‘It’s got to the point when I’m offered a project, I think, ”Hang on, this means I can’t ride for a month,” she told the publication.
Elsa explained she previously had to consider how an acting role fits in with her children, but now she needs to think how it fits in with her three children and the horses.
Elsa lives in a $30million mansion in Byron Bay with her Marvel superstar husband Chris Hemsworth and their three children – daughter India Rose, 10, and eight-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan.

It comes after Chris revealed he will be taking a break from acting to spend time with his family after discovering he’s at risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
He told Vanity Fair he has decided to take ‘time off’ after filming a confronting episode about death on his new Disney+ docu-series Limitless.
‘Doing an episode on death and facing your own mortality made me go, ‘Oh God, I’m not ready to go yet’,’ he said.

‘I want to sit and be in this space with a greater sense of stillness and gratitude. And then you start talking about kids and family.
‘It really triggered something in me to want to take some time off. And since we finished the show, I have been completing the things I was already contracted to do.’
Chris said he has decided to have a ‘good chunk of time off’ with his family.
Earlier this month Chris Hemsworth revealed that he learned he’s genetically predisposed to develop Alzheimer’s disease while shooting his new show Limitless
