Chilling details emerge about how slain mum was allegedly murdered by her new boyfriend after she was found dead inside her apartment

A young mother found dead in her home was allegedly strangled to death with electrical cords by her boyfriend.
The body of Dayna Isaac, 28, was found in her Colless St unit in Penrith, in Sydney‘s west, on January 16, by the mother of her boyfriend Paul Sultana.
Sultana, 32, has been charged with Ms Isaac’s murder.Ā
The pair had been friends for years but more recently had started a romantic relationship.
When officers were called to Ms Isaac’s unit, they allegedly found her unconscious in the bedroom with two electrical cords tied around her throat, according to documents tendered by police, the Daily Telegraph reported.

She also allegedly had injuries to her face while blood was spotted on the tiles in her home.
Police had been called to the home earlier that day after neighbours reported hearing a disturbance but left when nobody came to answer the door.
A short time later, officers found her car burnt-out in bushland at Castlereagh, about 11.5km from her home.Ā
While officers were responding to the car fire, Sultana’s mother found Ms Isaac’s body at the apartment then made the short walk to the police station to report the discovery.Ā

According to court documents, police allege Sultana killed Ms Isaac between 1pm and 4pm on Monday, January 16.Ā
Ms Isaac’s ex-husband and the father of her two children,Ā Mikkel Isaac, learnt of her death while behind bars on drug charges.
Sultana did not appear in court when his matter was mentioned for the first time last month.
He is due to face court again on March 17.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up by a friend of Ms Isaac to support her family.Ā
