The son of David and Victoria Beckham, 23, and his heiress wife, 27, modelled themselves on Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio from the 1996 movie, directed by Baz Luhrmann, which was an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s famous play.
Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, set in Verona, Italy, is a love story marred by conflict between the two noble families – the Montagues and the Capulets.
Shakespeare does not reveal the cause of the feud between the two families, but it drives all the major events of the plot and means Romeo and Juliet can never truly be together.
