Barbosa went on to tell her loved ones that aside from the breast cancer detection, doctors also discovered a malignant growth in her intestine and lung.

Whenever someone would suggest that she seek a second opinion from a doctor they were recommending, she would often decline their guidance and say that she was already undergoing chemotherapy.

The family unearthed Barbosa’s lies after one of her relatives followed her to Araújo Jorge Cancer Hospital and spotted her sitting in the cafeteria.

The family member was able to confirm that she was not a patient and that she had been busted on multiple occasions for taking pictures at the treatment center during a chemotherapy session.

Barbosa regularly posted photos of her bogus cancer battle on her social media accounts, including images of herself lying on a bed pretending to be in the process of a treatment session.
