Boy George accuses British Airways of ‘leaving everyone in first class waiting’ while Victoria Beckham got ‘picked up at the aircraft’ in vitriolic tweet

Boy George has claimed that British Airways left passengers waiting in first class for ‘steps’ while Victoria Beckham‘s car came to pick her up directly from the aircraft. 

The singer, 61, took to Twitter to vent his frustration on Wednesday afternoon, declaring he will avoid flying with the airline for a while in a now-deleted tweet.

It read: ‘Nice touch for @britishairways to leave everyone in first class waiting for steps while Victoria Beckham’s car picks her up at the aircraft. Proper going to avoid flying BA for a while!’

The musician has been touring the US for the past two weeks with his 80s heyday band Culture Club.

Boy George did not disclose his flight’s arrival destination, but it is likely to be the UK as the trio – also comprising Roy Hay and Mikey Craig – are set to perform at London’s Kenwood House on Friday night. 

While former Spice Girl Victoria, 48, has not documented recent travels, her husband David, 47, and their daughter Harper, 10, have been spending quality time together in Venice.  

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Victoria Beckham and British Airways for comment.

In 2016, George forbid solo singer Vangelis from performing the band’s 1997 hit Viva Forever, before launching into a seething attack on the Girl Power five-piece.   

He scathed: ‘The Spice Girls are awful. I hate them. They’ve just got nothing to say. 

‘Girl power. Yeah, and what the f*** is girl power? F*** the Spice Girls.
