Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak joined top Tories and guests for a Conservative summer party being held at V&A museum this evening.
The fundraising event on Monday night saw the Prime Minister and top members of his cabinet head to the London museum to woo Tory donors.
Also in attendance were billionaire Nick Candy and his Australian model wife Holly Valance, political strategist Lynton Crosby and former investment banker Lubov Chernukhin.Â
It came hours after the Prime Minister retook the reins of government yesterday afternoon, after undergoing surgery on a sinus problem.
The Prime Minister is feeling well and will be holding meetings this afternoon, after the minor operation under general anaesthetic at an unspecified London NHS hospital, his spokesman said.
Mr Johnson was admitted to hospital at 6am for the scheduled procedure, and returned to Downing Street around 10am.Â
It was the first time the PM had visited hospital since he suffered from Covid in the spring of 2020, and his spokesman said they two were not related.

As they arrived at the party, guests were jeered and booed by a group of members of the PCS Union who gathered outside to campaign for better pay.
Earlier this year, Boris Johnson announced 91,000 job cuts across the civil service, with the secretaries of state asked to prepare plans for redundancies across their departments by the soon-approaching 30 June.
Conservative party Chairman Oliver Dowden arrived at the museum for the do, as well as foreign secretary Liz Truss, health secretary Sajid Javid.
In April, the Prime Minister hosted a luxurious champagne and canapes do at Mayfair hotel Claridge’s and joked about Partygate just hours before the cost-of-living bills came into place for Britons.
Johnson and fellow Cabinet ministers ‘schmoozed’ Tory donors on April 2, ahead of the life-changing rise in costs for bills and council tax for the people of the UK.Â
It is understood that the event on Monday evening was similar in that Tories were ‘schmoozing’ their regular donors.

The following day after the April do saw millions of ordinary Britons face an assault on their budgets because council tax, car tax, national insurance, water bills and the cost of broadband, phones and TV are all going up in April.Â
All the while Mr Johnson was wooing wealthy backers, with his aim to get cash for the Conservative’s marginal seats funds.

It is understood Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab remains on hand to assist with any major decisions, in line with the general advice to the public on not making significant choices for the first 24 hours after undergoing general anaesthesia.
However, Boris Johnson remains Prime Minister and will continue acting as such, No 10 said.
