Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright and Danai Gurira led the stars at the 2022 EBONY Power 100 gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The cast of their new movie was collectively being presented with the Culture Award during the evening’s star-studded fete, which was thrown at Milk Studios by Coke Zero Sugar.
Lupita, 39, who won an Academy Award for her stirring performance in 12 Years A Slave, made a splash in a monochrome ensemble with flared trousers and crisscrossed sashes.
Meanwhile Letitia showcased her vertiginous legs in a popping crimson wrap dress reminiscent of the 1970s and amplified the effect with matching stilettos.
Danai on the other hand channeled the 1920s in a sleek white cleavage-baring net dress that was dripping with fringe from both the bust and the hemline.
All three women, who have returned to the Black Panther sequel after acting in the original movie, gathered together to treat the shutterbugs to a few dazzling star-studded group shots.
Chadwick Boseman, who played Black Panther, died tragically in 2020 at the age of just 43 after a secret cancer battle, and rather than recasting the role, the sequel has soldiered on with his female costars front and center.

Real Housewives turned out in force, including Kandi Burruss of Atlanta who arrived on the arm of her husband Todd Tucker and Garcelle Beauvais of Beverly Hills who posed stag in a striking pair of leopard print opera gloves.
