Aussie waitress reveals she argued with Katy Perry over a café table – before the pop star TIPPED her for ‘treating her like a normal person’
A Queensland waitress was left mortified after an awkward interaction with pop star Katy Perry.
Indianna Paull, a part-time yoga instructor, uploaded a TikTok video revealing she had served the singer, 37, while working at a café in Port Douglas on Saturday.
Katy, who is in Australia while her partner Orlando Bloom, 45, shoots the new movie Wizards!, requested to be seated at a table but was told one wasn’t available.

Indianna, who did not recognise the superstar beneath her hat and sunglasses, told Katy she would have to wait until a table became available.
She said the Roar hitmaker initially ‘argued’ with her over the lack of tables, but later thanked her with a generous tip for treating her like a ‘normal person’.
Describing the encounter on TikTok, Indianna wrote: ‘When you are the first dumb oblivious b***h to tell Katy Perry she has to wait for a table.

Katy and Indianna’s interaction was captured by nearby paparazzi, with the photos being published by Daily Mail Australia on Monday.
The images showed a disgruntled-looking Katy, who was carrying her daughter Daisy Dove, speaking to Indianna behind the counter.

Katy and Orlando jetted into Sydney Airport last Wednesday before hopping on a flight to Queensland.
The couple are believed to be staying in Australia for three months while Orlando shoots the film Wizards!
He’ll join Pete Davidson, Naomi Scott, Franz Rogowski and Sean Harris in the comedy by Australian writer-director David Michôd.
Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, is behind the film.
