Ashlee Simpson cuts a casual figure in a black top and ripped jeans

Ashlee Simpson showed off her casual sense of style as she stepped out with a friend at The Twenty Two in London’s Mayfair on Friday.

The 37-year-old sister of singer Jessica Simpson wore a black top underneath a long coat of the same colour which reached down just below her knee.

She wore a pair of denim jeans which were ripped at the knee and walked hand-in-hand with her pal.

Singer Ashlee completed her look by opting for a pair of chunky black patent boots for her night at the hotel, restaurant and private members club overlooking London’s historic Grosvenor Square.

Ashlee’s friend wore a green top with a plunging neckline which she teamed with a pair of flared navy blue jeans.

She wore a dark green jacket with blue stripes and a zigzag pattern down the front.

She completed her look by opting for a pair of snakeskin high-heeled boots for the evening.   

Ashlee has been married to actor Evan Ross, 33, since 2014 and the couple has since welcomed two children – their daughter Jagger, six, and their son Ziggy, one.

She was previously married to Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy fame, with whom she shares her firstborn son Bronx, 13.

It recently emerged Ashlee and Evan have differing views on having more children.

Ashlee started out by claiming they were ‘done’ adding to their brood, but her other half is hopeful she’ll change her mind.

Speaking to E! News, the pop star said: ‘I think we’re done.’

However, her spouse interjected: ‘We’ll see.’

Ashlee continued: ‘He is ready for more! I do love being pregnant and being a mother but, I’ll let you know if I change my mind.’

The Pieces of Me hitmaker – whose husband is Diana Ross’ son – also revealed their little boy is starting to ‘jibber jabber and say cute things’.

She shared: ‘He says Ross and Jagger.’
