Anya Taylor-Joy travelled to the outback town of Broken Hill, New South Wales, with her boyfriend Malcolm McRae on Sunday.
The 26-year-old actress looked chic in a brown checkered wool coat and flared jeans as she departed Sydney Airport.
Anya, who was born in Miami and raised between London and Argentina, is heading to the rural town to film the upcoming Mad Max prequel, titled Furiosa.

Travel: The 26-year-old actress departed Sydney Airport holding a pet carrier
She completed her look with black boots and a matching-coloured cap.
Anya held a pet carrier as she boarded a private jet while Malcolm followed her.
The film’s director George Miller was also seen boarding the plane.

He dressed casually in navy pants and a shirt as he chatted on his phone before joining the couple on board.
Anya is shooting Furiosa with the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, with the film slated for a 2024 release.
She will star as a young Imperator Furiosa, the war captain previously played by Charlize Theron in 2015 blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road.

Last year, former NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the highly anticipated Mad Max prequel would be filmed locally.
Berejiklian said it would be the ‘largest film ever to be filmed here’, creating 850 jobs and injecting at least $350million into the local economy.
She went on to praise the movie’s cast and crew, and said the production would ‘showcase Australian talent at its best’.

‘Chris, who’s made Australia his home, he’s a global superstar and works here in NSW, and I couldn’t feel prouder about him and his generation of actors that are really continuing to put Australia on the map,’ she said.
Anya is best known for playing the lead role in Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit, as well as the films Emma and The Northman, in which she stars alongside Alexander Skarsgård and Nicole Kidman.
Mad Max Furiosa is scheduled for release in 2024.
