In the original film, the late actor, Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020, starred as Black Panther’s title character, amid a cast that also included Michael B. Jordan and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o.
Numerous cast members from the first movie expressed interest in returning for a follow-up, although plans were complicated when Boseman tragically died of colon cancer.
