AFL glamour couple Tayla Damir and Nathan Broad a ‘no phones’ policy at their lavish wedding on Monday.

The couple tied the knot in the Gold Coast hinterland surrounded by family, friends and fellow influencers, all of whom were banned from using their phones as Tayla, 25, walked down the aisle.

The Love Island winner previously told The Herald Sun she and Richmond player Nathan, 29, were planning to following the ‘unplugged’ wedding trend by asking guests not to use recording devices.

‘When I walk down the aisle, I want to see everyone’s face rather than the back of phones so in that case it probably will be a no-phone wedding,’ she explained.

While most people would find it easy to comply with their request, a ‘no-phones’ policy could spell disaster for social media influencers in the crowd, as they would no longer be able to take selfies.

Luckily, Tayla and Nathan – who are both influencers and boast a combined 551.4K followers on Instagram – appear to have made some concessions.

Rather than completely banning phones, the couple allowed guests to take photos at certain times, but guests were still asked to refrain from posting until after the festivities.

Tayla and Nathan have since shared stunning professional photos of themselves posing in front of a lush white floral display.

Tayla stunned in a white floral gown by Oglia-Loro Couture, while the Richmond player looked sharp in a classic tuxedo from MJ Bale.

The model’s lace dress trailed across the ground behind her, and she styled her brunette hair in a neat bun which she covered with a long veil.

Tayla shared their beautiful wedding photos on Instagram on Tuesday, alongside the caption: ‘Mr and Mrs Broad -17.10.22.’

Other images showed the couple, who began dating in late 2019, posing atop a hill against the idyllic backdrop of the surrounding countryside.

Tayla also shared a blurry video of the couple with their arms wrapped around one another as they watched a fireworks display.

It comes after Tayla recently revealed she would like to get married before having children with Nathan, citing her ‘traditional’ upbringing.

‘I’m traditional in the sense than I would ideally like to be married first, but after that, let the baby-making begin,’ she said in an Instagram Q&A.

The model announced her engagement to the three-time premiership player in June, posting a video to Instagram of the moment her boyfriend proposed.

Footage from their home CCTV system showed Nathan surprising Tayla by getting down on one knee on their front porch.

Despite having a lot to look forward to, Tayla found wedding planning stressful.

In July, she said she was suffering from anxiety, nose bleeds, stress rashes and exhaustion while trying to choose a venue, stick to her budget and ‘please everyone’.

‘I have always prided myself on using my social media to break down stigmas surrounding mental health and being as open and honest as possible,’ she said on Instagram at the time.

‘This time last week I was in a really dark place. I suffer from extreme anxiety so the thought of trying to plan a wedding, letting people down with their wants and expectations, picking a venue, pleasing everyone, pleasing myself whilst not knowing what I want and trying to budget became so overwhelming,’ she added.

‘At the time my anxiety made me feel so weak. I am completely fine now and we have locked in a venue and I’m finally having fun planning a wedding which I’m so excited about.’
