Bec Judd has revealed her Christmas tree for 2022 – after memorably shocking fans with a anaemic looking ‘Scandi-style’ tree six years ago.
The AFL wag, 39, shocked fans with the infamous tree made with recycled branches back in 2016.
She reused the bare number for years before ditching it when she moved to her $7.3million home in Brighton, Melbourne.

But this year she has opted for a traditional and beautifully decorated tree for the festive season, set up in the living room home.
The mum-of-four revealed the stylish fir, which appeared to have white fake snow throughout, on an Instagram reel, revealing her kids helped her decorate.
‘Its that time of year,’ she wrote. ‘Grateful for my healthy, happy, humongous family (even though I seem to be yelling at them 90% of the time).’

Her tree includes large floral accents, pink, silver and gold baubles, and small fairy lights dotted throughout.
It also features an array of animated character trinkets, including the golden star tree topper.
She had the same in 2021 and 2020 despite previously standing by her abstract tree which drew criticism for its lack of festive spirit.

In 2018, she told Nine Honey: ‘We’ve used it every year for the last four years, and will be using it again.’
Bec said that she prefers ‘monotone trees’ – either an all-white or green tree which is then decorated with ornaments.
She added: ‘Not multi-coloured with stuff everywhere – because that would make my head spin – pick two colours and that’s it. But go big, think more is more, just all in the same tone.’

However, got rid of the tree – which had previously been slammed on social media as ‘depressing’ and ‘un-festive’ – when she moved into her home in 2019.
At the time, Rebecca said she was going to put up a white Christmas tree from Target after recently shooting a campaign with the budget department store.
She said: ‘How’s this for breaking news? You know my “ugly stick tree” that I always cop flack [for] every year when I put it on Instagram?
‘Very expensive, that tree. Anyway, the tree’s gone. It didn’t make the move.’

Back in 2017, she infamously told listeners that her stick tree ‘wasn’t going anywhere’.
‘It’s going to be with me and my family until the day I die, so just suck it up!’ she said at the time, responding to the backlash on Instagram.

For several years in a row, Instagram trolls had criticised the Christmas tree as ‘pretentious’, ‘horrible’ and ‘lacking warmth’.
One person commented: ‘Sorry, really don’t like this at all. Not very exciting for the kids. Where’s the green, fairy lights and warmth?’
Another wrote: ‘Horrible, very disappointing. Where’s the traditional tree? What’s next, a stick figure bunny for Easter?’
