Glamorous Aussie boxing world champ Ebanie Bridges reveals why she’s still getting punched in the face for a living despite making a FORTUNE from OnlyFans

  • Bridges has been on OnlyFans for just months
  • Has seen her bank balance skyrocket in that time
  • But Aussie insists she won’t hang up the gloves

Ebanie Bridges is making so much money from OnlyFans she is setting herself up for life – but she will keep putting her health at risk to keep her boxing career alive because she ‘loves hitting people’.

The Aussie IBF bantamweight world champion is well versed in the danger of the sport as she comes back from a hand injury so severe she had to have bone grafted from her hip – but despite making far more money outside the ring than in it, she has no intention of hanging up the gloves.

Bridges’ recent decision to join OnlyFans – where content ranges from the tame to pornography – has seen her net worth skyrocket.

‘You wouldn’t even believe it if I said it,’ she replied when asked how much she has made on the platform in an interview with Talksport.

‘It’s only been 10 weeks and I won’t disclose [the amount] but from the second day of launching my OnlyFans I’ve been in the top 0.01 per cent of earners.

‘I don’t even know why I’m boxing, probably because I love hitting people.’

Despite being so seriously injured in her last fight against fellow Aussie Shannon O'Connell (pictured) that she needed bone grafted from her hip onto her hand, Bridges says she loves 'hitting people' too much to give boxing away

Considering the fact Bridges’ fellow Aussie, music star Iggy Azalea, says she’s earning millions from OnlyFans, the boxer is likely seeing exponential growth in her bank balance – even if the move has seen her get criticised online.

‘It’s like when I first came on the [boxing] scene and I was weighing in in lingerie, it’s something different and people can’t handle it, they’re not open-minded,’ she said.

‘For me personally I have to do what’s right for me and it [OnlyFans] is setting up generational wealth.

‘Women’s boxing is not like the men’s [in terms of earning power] – we’re getting there – but why wouldn’t I make money on the side if I can?’

Bridges is immensely popular with fight fans thanks to her all-or-nothing style in the ring, risky sense of humour, intelligence and habit of wearing eye-catching outfits to her weigh-ins.

The former maths teacher from Sydney recently marked International Women’s Day by posting a video of herself stripping down to see-through lingerie for a weigh-in accompanied by the message, ‘I never gave up and stayed true to myself.’

‘You know, don’t let other people tell you who you should be, what you should do, especially us as women,’ she wrote.

‘We’ve been told what we should do, how we should look, what we can and can’t do, what we can and can’t say for years.

‘It’s not the 1920’s, it’s not the 1950’s, it’s 2023 now and it’s about time that women were able to express themselves as an individual in a way that they want without being judged and without being told that they can’t.’

Bridges received plenty of support from her 730,000 followers on Instagram.

‘Thank you for everything you’ve saved me from. Never stop… Happy International Women’s Day. Keep inspiring and never dull your personality to suit anyone else,’ posted a follower.

‘You are incredible! Always has and always will be a true inspiration,’ commented a second.
